We are seeing Red this New Year’s Eve
Where did this year go? I don’t know about you but this year has flown by and New Year’s Eve is 12 days away! Wow!
We are super excited about the New Year. You should see what is going to be coming into the store. However, let’s not get too far ahead of ourselves.
As fashion retailers, Christmas and New Years are just plain old fashion fun. Fashions are bright, colourful, and sparkly. We love the razzle-dazzle of the season. And this year our Canadian French Designers, Frank Lyman and Luc Fontaine, did not disappoint us.
We are seeing red as the hot colour for New Year’s Eve. Don’t get us wrong we love the LBD, but some years you just need to work a bold colour into your repertoire.
Let’s start with one our favourite French designers Frank Lyman:
This beautiful dress has a sparkle that is woven into the fabric which allows the dress to shimmer. All you need is a fabulous pair of shoes with some crystal embellishments, and you are ready to go. You could add a bolero or shawl if you want to keep your arms covered. This dress is perfect for a New Year’s eve cocktails party or if you choose to go to the club this New Year’s.
This dress by Frank Lyman demonstrates Lyman’s ability to create classic elegance. This elegant piece covers your arms which are often a concern for women. Further, the chiffon overlay will strategically hide any figure flaws such as muffin top.
Hot! Hot! Hot! This figure enhancing dress is a daring and sexy selection for your New Year’s Eve party. Dance all night in this comfortable dress by adding beautiful strappy sandals and don’t forget a fabulous pair of chandelier earrings to finish off this piece.
Luc Fontaine Designs cannot be ignored:
Luc Fontaine Red Flowered Lace Dress:
This dress is bold and sophisticated. We love this dress for a formal dinner with cocktails. Paired with a nice sheer hose, this dress becomes a cocktail party stand out. With the scalloped neckline, you have the option of adding a necklace or not. If you do choose to fill in the neckline, we recommend something simple and subtle so not to distract from the intricate detail of the dress.
Luc Fontaine Embossed Suit with lace trim skirt:
This suit screams romance. With its’ Elvis colour and embossed fabric, the suit is luxurious and elegant. Add a sequin tank or Alison Sheri’s Lace Cut Out Turtleneck to allow for more function. Then, you can remove the jacket when the dancing begins.
We love the versatility of this suit. You can purchase just the jacket and pair it with an evening pant for a more casual chic look.
These are a few our red selections that we have in store right now. Drop by today or browse our online collection but whatever you do make sure that you add a little red to your look this New Year’s Eve.
